Reading & Signing at Bent Pages Book Store

Please come by Bent Pages on Van Duzer Street in Staten Island, NY at 2pm on Saturday, August 22.  I will be reading from “Lost In You” as well as signing and selling copies of the book for $17 (save on tax/shipping).  There will be fun entertainment outside as well. Hope to meet you all!
The businesses of Van Duzer St. have a permit to shut down Van Duzer St. between Beach St. and Wright St. for the first four Saturdays in August.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Lacey’s Bridge Tavern in Staten Island, NY to support me and “Lost In You”! We had great food, good people and some great discussion about books (I even sold quite a few of my own)! I was asked a lot of fun questions about both “Lost In You” and “Dream Catchers”, which everyone in attendance got a sneak peek of! The first two chapters will be up on the site soon, so no worries!

I will be a guest author for Lacey’s Bridge Tavern’s Book Club. I will be signing copies of “Lost In You” as well as selling them. Let me know if you plan on buying a copy so I know I can accommodate you. If you already purchased the book, make sure you bring it! :) This will be a dinner event, which will cost $23 per person and includes a 3 course meal, unlimited soft drinks, tea, coffee, tax & tip. A cash bar will also be available for those who fancy the drink! :) It would mean the world to me if you could make it – this is my first book event and I’m thrilled! On DVD: Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden

Remembering the days of wine & roses is what it feels like to attend a Michael Bublé concert.  As someone in their 20′s whose only experiences of the “rat pack” was through my parents’ Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin albums, I am able to experience their music, class, style and persona in the present time via Bublé.

Recently, he released “Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden”, a documentary and concert DVD/CD set.  I was an audience member for this exact show, and was thrilled to hear about the release of the DVD to commemorate the night for me.

Bublé brought down the house with his crooning style on songs like the sexy “Me and Mrs. Jones”, “I’m Your Man”.  My personal favorites are his originals: “Home” and “Everything” as well as his smooth rendition of “Feeling Good”.  One of the highlights was when he sang with no microphone whatsoever.  His voice echoed throughout the garden–raw and fantastic!

The CD actually includes the song sans microphone, which I hope comes across for those that weren’t at the concert as well as it did for me.

The DVD not only has performances from Bublé, but candid interviews with the star on his rise to fame and discussing the sentimentality of playing New York’s well-known venue.  You also learn about the kinship he has with his band and will get to meet his family.

“Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden” is a must-have for any fan of Michael Bublé or his style of music; it’s timeless and puts you in a vibe like no other.  I can’t wait for the release of Bublé’s next album this fall!  Check his website for updates: www.michaelbuble.com!
