Industrial climbers dressed as superheroes and fictional characters washed the windows of the hospital building of the Medical University of Warsaw. But, as they said, it was mostly about surprising the little patients and making them happy at Christmas.
– We are industrial mountaineers. As part of the Great Christmas Charity Orchestra, we organize such an initiative to show this kindness, – said the coordinator of this initiative, Krzysztof Raka, in an interview with TVN24.
He said that on Christmas Day, a group of climbers, with the help of the fire service and the police, peered into the windows of the pediatric hematology and oncology clinic at the Gdansk University Clinical Center.
– First, we go to their windows, we try to wash them often, but we don't always succeed, but we try to see them from the other side, show them our superheroes, show other sides, but only from the other side – he added. He noted that such actions have been organized for five years.

“We paint smiles on children's faces”
– There was an opportunity to do something good for children and give them some joy on such a happy day, especially a holiday. The children are in the hospital, they cannot go home. If we can give them some joy, then why not, added Wojciech Pocejewski, another mountaineer.

– We paint smiles on children's faces on such a special day as Christmas (Christmas – ed.). They are confined in wards and we can at least do one good thing to make them smile, said climber Remigiusz Zdziech.
