Google has released a new update to its Trending Now tool.
The feature, which is part of the company's Google Trends, offers insight into trending search terms, as well as which ones are seeing the most growth in search volume over time, which can be helpful for people embarking on ad campaigns and SEO plans.
Insights will now include more information about terms related to specific verticals, markets, or regions. As shown in one example from a tech giant, “Trending Now” will include new formats such as trends and total search volume.
Users can click on the chart to view an updated list of terms for more information, or expand the appropriate links to see a specific breakdown of search volume. Additionally, users can benefit from search filters that show them what's trending in their specific region.
According to the Android maker, the new tool has been upgraded to provide more enhanced insights at a faster pace, which essentially means you get 10 times more trends than before and it keeps updating after 10 minutes. It also makes it easier to compare trends.
It’s also a useful tool for bookmarking key insights, keeping you up to date with current happenings related to your field, and anyone wanting to stay relevant in today’s revolutionary social media game can use it to spark content ideas.
If you think about it, it's a revamped version of Google Trends. It features up-to-date lists and will be more valuable as it acts as a top connection tool. According to the search engine giant, the new tool will be available in nearly 125 countries in the coming days.
