Graduate programs in the Charles F. Dolan School of Management and the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Sciences once again rose in this year’s 2024 U.S. News Best Graduate Schools rankings.
Fairfield Dolan's accounting program rose 10 places to #16 (T), once again ranking in the top 20 in the nation. Fairfield Dolan's marketing program also ranked in the top 20, coming in at #17 (T). The business analytics (T) and finance programs both ranked #25 in the country. Continuing its upward trend, Fairfield Dolan's part-time MBA program rose 23 places to #53 (T).
2024-2025 Best Graduate Business Programs:
Accounting is ranked 16th nationally, tied with Arizona State University (WP Carey) and Seattle University (Albers). Marketing is ranked 17th nationally, tied with Dartmouth College (Tuck), Indiana University (Kelley) and Saint Joseph's University (Haub). Business Analytics is ranked 25th nationally, tied with Northwestern University (Kellogg), University of Texas at Dallas (Jindal), University of Scranton (Kania) and Rockhurst University (Helzberg). Finance is ranked 25th nationally.
Among the best U.S. nursing schools offering master's degrees, Fairfield Eagan rose 15 spots this year to No. 58 (T). The Eagan School's DNP program also rose two spots to No. 72.
Best Graduate Schools in Nursing 2024 – 2025:
Ranked 58th (T) nationally and 2nd in Connecticut for schools offering Master's programs, behind Yale University. Ranked 72nd (T) nationally and 3rd in Connecticut for schools offering DNP programs.
For the 2024-2025 edition, U.S. News also released additional professional program rankings – new survey-based rankings in 12 areas based solely on peer evaluation. Fairfield Eagan and the College of Education and Human Development received award-winning rankings in the following peer-reviewed areas:

Ranking factors that determine the best part-time MBAs include peer evaluation, GMAT/GRE scores, average undergraduate GPA, work experience, total number of part-time students, and percentage of part-time students.
U.S. News and World Report's rankings of master's in nursing and DNP programs are based on factors such as faculty resources, research activity, quality ratings, program size and student selectivity.
