A Victorian-era railway station has been converted into homes and part hotel and is officially on the property market.
Lisa and Steve Rawlings purchased the old Coalport Station in 2002 as a way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and into a quieter area.
Steve Rawlings told SWNS there were no trains or tracks on the land at the time and it was overgrown with weeds and shrubs.

“This place was the perfect getaway. The property was appealing from the start and over time we had a clear vision for what we wanted to do with the property,” he said.
Today, the building, built in 1863, houses two rail cars and functions as a sort of hotel in Shropshire, England, according to the couple.

Steve Rawlings said tourists had been attracted to the concept over the years, with one group of guests having stayed there 15 times.

“We estimate we've taken about 2,000 bookings over the last few years,” he said.
He added that he and his wife are selling the property due to her health problems.

“The only reason we are selling the house is for Lisa's health. We need somewhere to put a lift or a bungalow,” he told SWNS about his wife.

Though he is sad to leave this unique place, Rawlings said he and his wife plan to remain in the area because the town has “the old-fashioned way of life, the things we cherish.”
This historic site is close to the Ironbridge Gorge and the Shropshire Hills, two of the region's famous tourist attractions.

According to SWNS, the main house has three bedrooms, three reception rooms and a waiting room which is currently used as an office.
The two Great Western Mark 1 carriages date back to the 1960s and can be accessed from the original station platform in front of the main house.

One carriage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living and kitchen area, while the other has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, SWNS reported.

The property is currently listed for sale with Berriman Eaton for approximately $1.1 million.
