TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The University of Toledo’s Mobile Health Unit has partnered with Toledo Libraries to provide free, on-site services at multiple library locations.
The mobile unit includes a waiting room, two exam rooms and restrooms, according to a press release from the library.
Services provided by the mobile medical unit are free of charge, and showing identification and insurance information is encouraged but not required, according to a press release.
“We are pleased to be able to bring this resource directly to the communities that need it most without any barriers to access,” said Jason Kuksma, Executive Director of TLCPL.
According to the press release, the mobile units will operate on the following schedule:
1st and 3rd Monday | 10am – 2pm | Sanger Branch 1st and 3rd Tuesday | 10am – 2pm | Heather Downs Branch 1st and 3rd Wednesday | 10am – 2pm Mott Branch 2nd and 4th Monday | 10am – 2pm | Kent Branch 2nd and 4th Wednesday | 10am – 2pm | Holland Branch
