Both British teams won their opening two games at the Flag Football World Championships on Tuesday.
The British women's team won last year's European Championships and came to the tournament ranked fourth in the world.
And they got off to a dominant start in Finland, with Grace Conway scoring four touchdowns in a 46-6 win over the Czech Republic, before scoring three more in a 41-0 win over Israel.
The British men's team, ranked 15th in the world, began their campaign with a 48-12 win over Georgia that included three touchdowns from Henry Williams.
They then led Sweden 32-8 by halftime before sealing a 32-26 victory that has already booked the women's place in the round of 16.
The Great Britain men's team will complete their group stage against Germany on Wednesday, while the women's team will face Panama.
The four-day event in Lahti runs until Friday and is the first international competition since flag football was added to the programme for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
