Gniezno police said they received three independent reports of items that could pose a threat to health or even life found in candy distributed to children after Halloween this year.
The first notification was received on Friday from the mother of an 11-year-old boy who lives on the Skiereszevo estate. While playing, the child got a candy with a needle stuck in it.

The second report concerned the parents of a 14-year-old girl who received candy containing a sharp object.
After asking the police to carefully examine the contents of gifts received by children, it was discovered that a girl who had been visiting homes in Janków Dolny had received dangerous gifts. The service has begun to identify those responsible for this situation.
A lawsuit was also opened in the case of a third report regarding sweets collected in the center of Gniezno. Like the other two, it is carried out in terms of direct exposure to danger to life or health.

Information about dangerous substances in candies has also been received from other parts of Poland, including: Rubusland. In Lipki Wierkiye, near Gorzów, a boy found a small nail in some sweets.
Second, in Pilžice (Western Pomerania), a woman called the police after finding a pin stuck in her child's candy while she was eating. Fortunately, nothing happened to the girl.
