The 41-year-old driver of the Audi was arrested twice within a few hours. It turned out that he should not get behind the wheel. He was banned from driving. In addition, during the second “meeting” with the police, he was under the influence of drugs.
On Friday, around 9 o'clock, officers of the Otvok police station stopped the driver of an Audi car on Polna Street in Josefov. “After checking the 41-year-old resident of Jozefov at the police stations, it was found that he was prohibited from driving,” the deputy commander said in a statement. Patrick Domarecki of the Otwok District Police Department.
After completing the work, the police released the man and handed over the car to another authorized person. They noted that by sitting behind the wheel despite the ban, this man committed a crime punishable by up to 5 years in prison.

Four hours later he was still driving
But the 41-year-old did not draw any conclusions. On the same day, at approximately 13:00 in Josefov, on Blekytna Street, the police observed an Audi car that had been checked earlier and was driven by a person other than the 41-year-old previously arrested.
“The police arrested this man again, this time he not only did not comply with the prescribed punishment measures, but during the examination of this man it was found that he was under the influence of drugs,” said Domaretsky. This man was arrested and spent the night in a police cell. This time the car was parked at the police station.
The next day, the 41-year-old man was charged with two counts of failing to comply with a probation order and one count of driving under the influence of drugs.
He faces up to 5 years in prison, and his further fate will be decided by the court. This case continues under the supervision of the Otvok District Prosecutor's Office.
