On Monday, Kentshin police received a report of a robbery at one of the city's warehouses. According to the victim, the assailant broke a window and stole food, cleaning supplies and other items intended for the needy from the volunteer's room, Warmian-Masuria police reported. Losses were estimated at 1,000 złoty.

The next day, the perpetrators arrested the suspect, who turned out to be a 49-year-old from Kentsin. Officers admitted that the man himself frequently used the charity's help.
A resident of Kentshin was taken into police custody. Over time, the police discovered that he had committed other crimes against his conscience. The 49-year-old man allegedly broke into one of the pavilions at the community farm and stole a gasoline saw.

It is known that for the robbery he faces up to 10 years in prison, but his time in prison could be extended. Police said the man had been previously convicted of a similar offense and will be charged with “recidivism.”
