Donald Trump won the presidential election in Arizona, CNN reports. This means he will get another 11 electoral votes. That means the Republican won all seven swing states.
270 Electoral College votes were needed to win the race for the White House. Taking into account the Arizona pool (11 votes), Donald Trump has only 312 votes and Kamala Harris 226 votes.

Politico points out that the Republican campaign focused on border security, immigration and fighting crime. He won in Arizona, which saw a record number of immigrants last year.
On the campaign trail, Trump promised mass layoffs and the hiring of 10,000 more. agents to patrol the US-Mexico border. He assured that he will allocate a part of the military budget to fund border protection.
Reuters points out that Arizona is home to the fourth largest population of Latino voters. Trump won their support.

Key states in Trump's hands
Trump also won the remaining states: Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Nevada. In the 2016 election, he won 306 electoral votes against Hillary Clinton and currently has 312 votes.

In 2020, Joe Biden defeated Trump, winning six of the seven swing states. He just got beat up a little bit in North Carolina.
According to CNN, Donald Trump also won the general election with 74.5 million votes, nearly 4 million more than Kamala Harris.
