Poland and its existence was a guarantor of stability and this was demonstrated by the Second World War. Its breakage was the beginning of the disaster, Andrzej Duda said at the National Independence Day celebration in Warsaw's Pilsudski Square. The president also said that “world order” requires Ukraine to return to its borders before the 2014 attack.
– Today we are part of the free world not only culturally, but also politically, – emphasized Andrzej Duda during the celebration of the National Independence Day on Monday in Warsaw's Pilsudski Square. – We are a part of large national societies, the European Union, but first of all, we are NATO, – the president added.
“We are the keystone in all these communities,” Duda said. “Today, all allies led by the USA, which is the guarantor of security, understand this,” he emphasized.

The president emphasized that “as some people think, it is a necessary dream that today Europe can ensure its security”. – For the security of Europe and the world, it is necessary to strengthen the Euro-Atlantic relations, – he emphasized. – If we are strong and responsible, peace will be established in our part of Europe and the independent and sovereign Republic of Poland will remain stable, said Duda.
The President spoke about respecting the territorial integrity of all countries, especially Ukraine, which, according to him, “must return to its borders before the Russian attack, not only in 2022, but the first border in 2014.” – This is what security, world order and compliance with international laws require, – stressed Duda.
