The latest survey conducted by the Institute for Public Opinion Research on behalf of “Super Express” shows a significant realignment in Polish politics. A year and a month after the parliamentary elections that brought PiS out of power, Jarosław Kaczynski's party is back in the lead.
According to the survey, PiS overtook KO in the support ranking in November, taking first place on the podium with a result of 34.30%. KO thus drops to second place, with an approval rating of just over 32%.
Party polls. PiS leads, leftists behind the podium
The third place has long been held by Confederacha. Although it did not move up the list, the party co-led by Sławomir Mentzen and Krzysztof Bosak has reason to be happy. Changes in the top rankings did not affect the party's standing.
According to experts cited by the study's authors, the federation is strengthening its position at the expense of the Third Way (which has an approval rating of 7.68 percent). Assessing this result, political scientist Marcin Parade said, “If the formation of Holounia and Kosiniak Kamis had run as a coalition government, they would not have even entered Seim,'' which suggests that PiS and the coalition That would have meant a majority of seats, he said. .
Close behind the coalition is the left wing, which is still suffering from declining approval ratings due to a split with the high-profile Razem party. The party received 5.82% support.
The survey was carried out by the “Super Express” public opinion research institute on November 12-13, 2024, using the CAWI method on a sample of 1,044 Polish adults.
