Downing of a Malaysian Boeing
In July 2014, a Buk-M1 missile hit the Malaysian Boeing flight MH17. The plane was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur and landed over the territory controlled by pro-Russian separatists in the Donbass. 298 people died on the plane.
According to the conclusion of the Dutch investigators, the Buk-M1 missile system, from which one of the missiles was fired, came from Russia.
