The Warsaw Police Headquarters has released a few minutes of footage of Lukasz Z., the suspect in the accident on Trasa Lazienkowska, in which a 37-year-old man died and fled the scene. At one point in the recording, a man can be heard telling the policeman who is recording him to “get behind that camera.”

Lukash Z. He has been tried many times: for driving under the influence of alcohol, for driving without a document, for fraud and drug possession. Courts banned him from driving five times. But often he was condemned to public works. He was sent to prison once and served 11 months.

The last sentence for Łukasz Z., also for violating the ban, was issued less than two months before the accident, at the Warsaw District Court Prague-Ponok. Then the court decided that the man should return to prison – one and a half years. However, the decision did not have time to become final.
