Amica has signed an agreement with the employee union on layoffs, the company announced in a press release. The parties to the agreement have agreed that collective redundancies will cover 39 employees of the company.
It was said that the subject of the agreement is to determine the rules of conduct in matters related to employees covered by the planned group dismissal, as well as the obligations of the company (as an employer) to the extent necessary to resolve other issues related to employees. dismissal of the intended group.
The signed agreement includes, among other things, the criteria for selecting employees whose labor contracts will be terminated as part of collective layoffs and the amount of benefits that will be provided to the employees who will be dismissed.

The parties to the agreement have agreed that collective redundancies will be carried out in the period from November 20, 2024 to December 20, 2024, covering 39 employees of the company (as a result, the last employment contracts will be terminated at the end of March 2025, the expiration of the notice period) .
The company's management indicates that a full assessment of the savings in the area of personnel costs in connection with the restructuring of employment will be possible after the completion of the process of changing the level of employment.
At the end of October, the company announced that Amica plans to make group layoffs involving no more than 49 employees.
It was further mentioned that the basis of the decision on the planned reduction of the group is the tendency to continue to decrease the demand for household appliances in the domestic and European markets, and thus lower than the expected value and volume of sales and volume of income. by Amica SA from the products offered to consumers.
