A 30-year-old BMW driver was driving at a speed of 129 km/h in a residential area. It turned out that he had ten driving licenses, three of which are active.
Last Sunday, November 17, at 8:00 a.m. in Belany-Yaroslavi, the attention of Sokolov Podlaski police officers was drawn to a BMW driver.
“He was driving in a residential area at a speed of 129 kilometers per hour. The officer ordered him to stop, but the man ignored the sign and ran away,” said Assistant District Police Officer Alexandra Siemieniuk. in Sokolov Podlaski in the statement.
The drunk man reported to the police station
The police officer chased the BMW. At one point, the car stopped and two people ran out and fled on foot. A 37-year-old BMW passenger, a resident of Vegrov district, was arrested.
The police took steps to arrest the second man. “After a few hours, a 30-year-old resident of Vegrov district applied to the Sokolov police station. He had a large amount of alcohol in his body,” Siemieniuk said. Both were taken to the police cell.
He added that the collected evidence shows that this 30-year-old man was behind the wheel of a BMW.
“He was given 10 driving bans”
“Worse, he drove the car despite the next court ban. As it turned out, this man was previously convicted several times for driving under the influence of alcohol and even for a traffic accident. In total, he had 10 driving bans.” said the policewoman.
A 30-year-old man was charged. A person can be imprisoned for up to five years for committing a crime or misdemeanor.
