– That's great, I didn't know about it. They certainly help cyclists. – It's just good that I didn't know about it. A good idea, say our interlocutors when we asked them if they knew that bicycle paths with the inscription Green Velo were built in Poland thanks to the funding of the European Union. Perhaps the vast majority of Poles still have no idea about it, but the Green Velo is the largest and longest cycling route in Poland, covering more than 2,000 kilometers, funded by the European Union. It passes through five eastern Polish voivodeships: Warmian-Masurian, Podlaski, Lublin, Podkarpackie and Swietokrzyskie. It starts from Elblag in the north and ends in Konskie in Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship. We asked the residents of Białystok what they think about these types of EU investments, including: in Poland. Some of our interlocutors did not even know that the funds of the European Union were spent on such issues, but most of them agreed on one issue. – It should be promoted. – Very good, cyclists should also have their seats. I am pro-bicycle and pro-movement. – Any creation of bike paths is a positive thing. The more it is, the more people drive. Passers-by admitted that the streets are dangerous.
