The victory of Donald Trump was officially announced. After the voters voted, the Republican leader was officially elected President of the United States. According to the state results, Trump won 312 electoral votes and Kamala Harris won 226 electoral votes. Each state's votes are then sent to Congress.
Although Donald Trump won the November 5th election, his victory is now formalized as voters gather in the Electoral College to officially choose the president.
Electors elected in the November elections gathered in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia on Tuesday to officially elect a new president. This year's College vote was based on the results of votes in individual states – Republican candidate Donald Trump received 312 votes and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris received 226 votes. The last vote in Hawaii took place on Wednesday at 1:00 AM PT. time in which votes for Kamala Harris cast the last four voters.

Each state's votes are then sent to Congress. Lawmakers will meet in joint session on January 6 to formally count the votes and announce Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
Trump and Vance will take office at noon on January 20, 2025.
