National Prosecutor Dariusz Kornelik announced that an application for a European arrest warrant (EAW) will be submitted to the court against PiS MP Marcin Romanovski. He said that prosecutors have already asked the national office of Interpol to issue a red alert in the case of the former deputy minister of justice.
Last week, the Mokotów District Court of Warsaw decided to arrest Marcin Romanowski for three months. The representative did not appear at the court session. On Thursday, the prosecutor in charge of the investigation issued an order to arrest a lawyer suspected of investigating the Justice Fund (JF).
Search in the international area
Korneluk said on Wednesday in the “Bez Yunikov” program on the “Troika” radio that on Tuesday the prosecutors requested the so-called red note to the national office of Interpol. This makes it possible, as he explained, to search for the former deputy minister of justice in the international arena. – Today the application has been prepared and today it will be sent to receive the European arrest warrant – said Kornelyuk.

He also said that the prosecutor's office currently has no evidence to file charges against the former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziob in the FS case.

He checked himself out of the medical facility
According to the prosecutor's office, on December 6, Marcin Romanovsky was discharged from the medical facility, where he underwent a planned medical treatment. In addition, since the same day, the phone numbers of this lawyer, registered with his personal information, have been turned off – his whereabouts are also unknown.
