During landing, the aircraft was unable to fully extend the landing gear. As a result of the accident, one of the plane's nose wheels was damaged and it left the runway.
According to the Daily Mail, a “full state of emergency” was declared at the airport and emergency services including police, fire brigade and ambulances were immediately called to the scene.

Firefighters were not required to take immediate action, but some units remained at the scene as a precaution. Belfast City Airport has advised passengers that the runway will be closed until at least the end of today.
There were no serious injuries caused by this incident. There were only four crew members on board this machine.
Severe storms occur in the UK
The incident disrupted almost 40 flights to and from Belfast City Airport, with some canceled and others redirected to other airports, the BBC said.
Earlier, winds reaching speeds of 120km/h caused paralysis at London Heathrow Airport. Around 100 flights were canceled, many postponed and thousands of passengers had to face travel difficulties.
