On Tuesday, a few minutes after 5 p.m., a road accident occurred in Zdziwo Novi (Przasnysh district). Two fire brigades and the police arrived at the scene.
The police determined that a 28-year-old resident of Przasnysh region was driving an agricultural tractor, lost control of the vehicle, entered a ditch and hit a tree.

– The sobriety test of a 28-year-old man showed 3.2 ppm of alcohol in his body. Moreover, after checking the police database, it was found that this man did not have a driver’s license, – reported graduate student Ilona Cichokko from the police office of Przasnis district. As he explained, this 28-year-old man was previously disqualified for driving under the influence of alcohol.
As a result of his injuries, the tractor driver was transferred to a nearby hospital.

As the police announced, the man will soon appear in court and face the consequences of his behavior. – He is responsible for driving a car while intoxicated and despite not having a driver’s license, as well as causing an accident, – said graduate student Chichokko.

“Alcohol drinks, even in small amounts, cause visual perception disorders, limit the field of vision, cause incorrect estimation of distance and speed, impair coordination of movements, reduce reaction speed. Do not endanger yourself and other traffic participants. If. May you have drunk – do not drive a car” – appealed the policemen.
Officials remind that driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated is a crime punishable by imprisonment for up to three years, and even up to five years if the offender has been previously convicted of such a crime.
