An Italian company was looking for a welder. Only women responded to this ad. Five of them were hired. – This job is not difficult. And the pay is higher than in bakeries and confectionery shops, said a 24-year-old man who works there.
The job announcement for welders was made by Pirozio, an Italian company based in Treviso in Veneto region that produces construction products, ANSA news agency reported, citing local daily Corriere del Veneto.
As added, only women responded to this ad. Five of them, aged between 21 and 53, were employed. Initially it was a probationary period, but it later became an employment contract.
The company was hiring a welder. Only women came forward
– Chiara Ascari, 24, one of the employees, said the welder’s job is not difficult. “Working hours are fixed and schedules are well-coordinated,” she added.
The welder said he also has weekends off. – And the salary itself is higher than, for example, in a bakery or confectionery shop, – she emphasized.

– During a job interview, I was told that I would not be allowed to stand in front of a welding machine. I thought: That’s a shame – Ascari reported.
However, the 24-year-old proved himself during training. And – as the local newspaper points out – he is now doing his job with great satisfaction.
