Krakow ranks among the top 20 places worth visiting in one of the annual ranking categories of the popular TripAdvisor platform. The presence in the ranking is the result of the ratings and opinions given by tourists who visited the city of Krakow in the last year. This is the only Polish city on this travel list.
TripAdvisor has announced its 2025 Travelers’ Choice Award rankings in seven categories. This ranking was created based on the opinions of tourists from all over the world.

In the culture category, Krakow is included in the top 20 and is the only place in Poland that is highly rated by platform users.
However, gaining a place among world leaders is not easy. Of the 8 million destinations available on TripAdvisor, only a few can count on this distinction.

“The TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards are based on more than 1 billion reviews and opinions on our site, from the destination itself to the restaurants, hotels, experiences, and everything that makes a place special. 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards. Krakow in the cultural sector
Krakow ranks 20th in the cultural destination category. Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro, Puerto Rico. Tourists highly appreciated Wawel, the capital of Lesser Poland, the central market square, St. Mary’s Church and Kazimierz.

The Best of the Best Destinations in the Travelers’ Choice Awards includes seven categories: Top Destinations, Trending Destinations, Cultural Destinations, Gourmet Destinations, and Honeymoon Destinations. Two new categories have been introduced this year. TripAdvisor’s 25th Anniversary subcategory features the best destinations for solo travelers and the best destinations of the past quarter century.
