Kiel Starmer told the Daily Telegraph on Monday that he was “pleased to be ready” to send British troops to Ukraine to ensure security as part of the peace agreement.
As the British Prime Minister added, ensuring lasting peace in Ukraine is “necessary if President Putin wants to stop further attacks in the future.” He said he was prepared to contribute to Ukraine’s security assurance by sending his troops to the location if necessary.

The Prime Minister’s statement came after former Army Chief Danat Lord said the BBC was “very exhausted” that the British Army could not lead Ukraine’s future peace mission.
