A Chinese tourist was hospitalized with serious injuries after a picturesque Sri Lanka train route leaned against the train. The 35-year-old was about to take a selfie, but unaware of the approaching tunnel, he slammed his head against the wall. Unfortunately, this is not the first event of this type on this famous route.
A dangerous incident occurred on the charming route of Nan Oya – Badull. The Chinese leaned out of the wagon, wanting to capture the unique Lanka landscape with their cameras.

However, the 35-year-old did not realize that the train was in the tunnel. Eventually, the tourists returned to the wagon.

As soon as the train stood at the station, the woman was taken to the hospital. However, she then went to another medical facility for specialized treatment. Tourists suffered serious heads and lower limbs.

In February of the same year, a 53-year-old Russian decided to take a selfie against the background of the famous 9-Oaks Bridge in the Ella region. The woman lost her balance, fell off the train and died on the spot.
