A 75-year-old man was walking at night on the A2 highway near Wola Šidlovecka. He was hit by the bus driver and the pedestrian died on the spot.
The incident happened on the night from Saturday to Sunday near Mogila provincial police station. Łódź, near the city of Wola Szydlovecka. This is part of the route between Skiernevice and Wiskitki crossings.
– On Sunday after 4, a man who was walking on the A2 road, entered the Warsaw road right in front of a moving bus. As a result of the collision, he died on the spot. The incident happened 100-150 meters away from the passenger service center of Mogile, said the spokesperson of the police station of Skiernevice, senior sergeant. Aneta Placek-Novak.
It is not known under what conditions the 75-year-old man found himself on the highway. All details of the accident will be determined by the investigation conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of the Skiernevice District.
The bus was driven by an Estonian citizen. Traffic is now flowing normally at the scene of the accident.
