According to the Associated Press, the U.S. military announced that the missile cruiser USS Gettysburg, part of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman's strike group, accidentally fired at an F/A-18, hitting it. The pilots successfully ejected, one with minor but non-life-threatening injuries.
