Dutch retailer Albert Heijn has introduced the AH Lifestyle Check feature in the AH app and Ah.nl/leefstijl to encourage customers to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
The AH Lifestyle Check gives users a “Lifestyle Score” after they take the assessment, providing insights and opportunities for improvement.
It includes personal lifestyle advice, practical tips, recipes, workouts and coaching.
The company added that within minutes of taking the assessment, users will receive a complete overview of how they sleep, eat, exercise and relax.
“Healthy lifestyle”
“A healthy lifestyle is important for all of us and we certainly need help in that regard. We are making it easy for our customers to make very concrete improvements,” said Marit van Egmont, CEO of Albert Heijn.
“The AH Lifestyle Check gives you the insight you need and then you'll have all the support in-house to help you get on the path to a healthier lifestyle, step by step.”
Users of the feature will benefit from insights from 12 lifestyle experts as well as healthy recipes and products.
New Campaign
Albert Heijn has also launched the “Meer groente, meer vezels” (More vegetables, more fibre) campaign to encourage consumers to include more vegetables and fibre in their diet.
The retailer offers a wide range of products in this category, including five varieties of 100% veggie pasta, such as pumpkin lasagna sheets.
The company added that its bread range has been expanded with wholemeal and high-fiber options, including new wholemeal mini apple lemon breads and Les Pains Matisse bread, made with recycled grains from the brewery.
