Brzezinski said that this means that “Poland is one of America's closest allies that we trust with the most sophisticated military equipment.” – The technology in this system is completely secret, very sensitive, and in this case we trust only Poland to work with us, – he added.
He assessed that the opening of the base “is a very important symbol of American-Polish military cooperation.” – This is a system whose purpose is to protect the entire West from missiles coming from the Middle East, not only America, – he emphasized.
