US media reported on Sunday that Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use US-supplied long-range missiles for attacks inside Russia. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller neither confirmed nor denied the news on Monday. He simply said that he had “nothing new to say” about it. However, he added that the US always claims that it will adapt its policy to the situation on the battlefield.
The New York Times reported on Sunday that the President of Ukraine, Joe Biden, has authorized Ukraine to use long-range missiles from the United States to strike targets inside Russia. This agreement applies, among other things, to American ATACMS missiles, which are already in Ukraine's possession, with a range of about 300 kilometers. Ukraine will carry out the first attacks using them in the coming days, the agency reports.

State Department spokesman has 'nothing new to say'
State Department spokesman Matthew Miller declined to confirm or deny the information during a press briefing on Monday. – I have nothing new about this policy. As you know, even before the start of Russia's all-out attack, the United States mobilized a coalition of more than 50 countries to help Ukraine and hold Russia accountable for its actions. And we have always made it clear that we will adapt and adapt our capabilities (…) to the situation, he said.

Asked if we should still wait for the “decisive response” of the US Secretary of State to the declaration of war with North Korea, Antony Blinken answered that he will keep his promise.
At the same time, the speaker refused to refer to the conversation between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Vladimir Putin on Friday. When asked if Germany had notified Washington of the talks and reported on them, Miller said only that he would not disclose private diplomatic conversations, adding that the two governments remained in close contact.
State Department: nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine
The spokesman of this ministry also said that the US still supports the principle of “nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine” and Kiev will decide whether and how to negotiate an end to the war. He also announced that regardless of Donald Trump taking power, the current administration intends to continue its foreign policy and support Ukraine until the end, using all the funds that Congress has made available for this purpose.
Miller also reported that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called his nominated successor, Senator Mark Rubio, to congratulate him and ensure a smooth transition of power. However, Donald Trump's team has yet to contact the State Department transition team and sign the appropriate agreements to enable this.
Kremlin: This will completely change the nature of this conflict
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Monday commented on reports that the White House had authorized the Ukrainians to use US long-range missiles for attacks inside Russia.
He stated that the use of these weapons would mean direct involvement of the US and its satellites in military operations and would be met with a “definite” response. According to Zakharova, such an action by Kiev “completely changes the nature and essence of this conflict”.
