Massive geological feature known as 'Double Arch' and 'Toilet Bowl' collapses in southern UtahPAGE, Ariz. (AP) — A large rock formation known as the “Double Arch,” “Hole in the Roof” or “Toilet Bowl” has collapsed in southern Utah. The National Park Service said Friday that no injuries were reported. A popular arch in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area collapsed Thursday. Park rangers believe changing water levels in Lake Powell and erosion from waves contributed to the collapse.
