“We have started collective redundancies, which will cover 220 workers at the Przeworsk plant,” Anna Kula of Black Red White told tvn24.pl’s business editorial team. The company announced that the process of “degrading production” will continue until the end of the first quarter of 2025.
– We decided to stop the production of tables and chairs at the factory in Przeworsk (Podkarpackie Voivodeship) – Anna Kula, head of the personnel department of the Black Red White company, informed the commercial editor of tvn24.pl.
He added that “the phase-out process of the production of tables and chairs is planned at the end of March 2025.”
Previously, information about the closure of the enterprise was reported by the local branch of public television.

A representative of Black Red White told tvn24.pl that “group layoff procedures have begun, covering 220 workers at the Przeworsk plant.”
– It will be implemented in accordance with the current rules of the Labor Code, with full observance of rights and provision of necessary benefits, – assured Anna Kula.
He added that BRW offers employees “support in finding alternative employment options in the labor market as well as in other sectors.”
Reasons for closing the plant in Przeworsk
Referring to the reasons for closing the company, Kula explained that “in response to dynamically changing market conditions in Poland and abroad, Black Red White Capital Group is taking strategic steps to further improve operational processes and adapt the business model to the current macroeconomic challenges.
– The production of Black Red White is currently focused on key categories such as box, soft and kitchen furniture – he said.
