A representative of the organizers of the European Political Community told reporters that Volodymyr Zelensky's speech was “private” and that the Ukrainian side had received the recording.
Ukrainians at the scene denied this theory. “If the format of the event allows, the President's speech will always be made public,” a short statement read.
Ukraine emphasized that it had not requested that Volodymyr Zelensky's speech not be broadcast or published.

In Budapest, President Zelenskiy drew attention to the escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian war due to the arrival of North Korean soldiers on the front lines.
