A 47-year-old British Airways pilot has died at a Caribbean resort just before his flight home. The man lost consciousness in front of the guests. The tragedy forced airlines to cancel cruises.
The tragedy occurred on the island of St. Lucia, a popular tourist destination. In his free time, the 47-year-old British Airways pilot was resting at one of the luxury hotels. At one point, a man fell and tourists staying at the facility panicked.

The pilot was pronounced dead shortly after the crash, The Sun reported. The airline contacted island authorities and asked them to notify the family and transport them to the scene. The return flight from the Caribbean to London had to be canceled due to the death of the pilot.
