Casio Computer Co., Ltd. today announced a collaboration with the Web3(1) lifestyle app “STEPN GO” as part of the “VIRTUAL G-SHOCK” project of its shock-resistant watch brand “G-SHOCK.” FSL, the Web3 product development studio that operates STEPN GO, will release a limited-edition offering of 800 NFTs(2) featuring four virtual sneakers. These limited-edition digital items will be available for sale from August 26 to 29 on the Raffle Mint of FSL's NFT marketplace “MOOAR.”

VIRTUAL G-SHOCK was launched in September 2023 with the aim of expanding the G-SHOCK user base.
STEPN GO is a lifestyle app that allows users to earn rewards for their daily movements and social interactions, including buying and sharing NFT sneakers.
As part of a collaboration aimed at expanding the user base of G-SHOCK and STEPN GO, a limited edition of 800 NFT sneakers will be sold through Mooar's Raffle Mint. The NFT sneaker designs incorporate various characteristics of the G-SHOCK brand, including color, shape and construction inspired by the physical products of G-SHOCK watches from the sports-oriented G-SQUAD line. In addition to appealing in the virtual space, these sneakers are designed to highlight the brand's shock absorption properties as users engage in physical activities such as running. Users can earn cryptocurrency rewards in the STEPN GO app based on the distance they run or walk.
