The 47-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan was planning to fly to Istanbul. During the border check, it was found that he was wanted on the basis of a European arrest warrant issued by Germany and on the basis of an arrest warrant issued by a Polish court.
This man was arrested on Monday, January 6 at the Chopin airport during the border check of passengers for a flight to Istanbul. During the passport check, the border guards found that this 47-year-old Kyrgyz man is wanted on the basis of a European arrest warrant issued by German authorities for participating in an attack using a dangerous weapon. He was also wanted by the Piaseczno district court for arrest and transfer to the nearest detention center.

He was illegal in Poland
– It turned out that he was staying in Poland without a valid visa or other documents that would allow him to enter and stay in our country. He was arrested and then taken to the District Prosecutor’s Office, where further work on the case was carried out, Dagmara Bielek from the Nadwislanski border guard unit said in a statement.
