Two dangerous situations occurred in Chorzów (Silesia province) due to drunk drivers. One of them failed to stop at a traffic light and almost hit a police car. The second one did not notice the road work and almost landed in the ditch. Both will be held accountable for their actions in court.
The first incident happened on October 21 at the intersection of Katowicka and Dabrovsky streets in Chorzhov. The driver disobeyed the traffic light and drove at high speed and almost collided with the police car.
A breathalyzer test showed that the man had about half a permille of alcohol in his body. The 50-year-old man lost his driver's license and will answer for his actions in court.

The second incident involving a drunk driver took place on Sunday (October 20) on Katowice Street. The driver did not stop in front of the police and stopped in front of a deep ditch.
No one was injured, and a breathalyzer test showed that the 22-year-old man from Chorzów had more than two and a half ppm of alcohol in his body. This man also did not have a driver's license. The court will decide on the punishment.
