In one graphic, American territory and Canadian territory are marked in one color and signed with a large “United States” inscription throughout. Trump simply posted a photo of the map with a short note saying, “Oh, Canada.”

The map posted by the 47th president of the United States did not escape the attention of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party of Canada. The group posted their own map on the X platform marking the actual border between the United States and Canada.
Territories of the United States are marked “United States” and territories of Canada are marked “Not United States.” The post ended with the caption, “For those who may be confused.”

The post came shortly after President Donald Trump threatened to use his “economic power” to take control of Canada and incorporate the territory into the United States. The billionaire recently referred to his northern neighbor as “America’s 51st state.”
