Dr. Jennifer Sample
RESTON, Va.– (BUSINESS WIRE) –Empower AI has appointed Dr. Jennifer Sample as Chief Technology Officer to drive the company's technology vision, strategy and execution on behalf of federal government clients. In this role, Dr. Sample will ensure the adoption of emerging technologies delivers strategic value, supports digital transformation goals and meets agency missions.

Dr. Sample joins Empower AI from Accenture Federal Services, where as Managing Director he developed and executed AI strategy delivering solutions to all agencies at the Cabinet level. Prior to that, he established programs in emerging technologies, intelligent systems and quantum computing at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). He also led the execution of defense contracts calling for research in data analytics, artificial intelligence, biomaterials and human-machine interfaces.

Dr. Sample holds 10 patents and holds a BS in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University, a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
