The billionaire father also revealed that his son has felt a “huge connection to Britain” since he first visited the country as a child. Elon Musk sparked outrage last week when he wrote on Platform X that Starmer was “complicit in the rape of Britain during his six years as Secretary of State”. He added that he believed the leaders of the government in London “should resign and be charged with complicity in the worst mass crime in the country’s history.”
Mr Trump’s colleagues cited the fact that when Mr Starmer was prosecutor there were gangs operating in the UK, particularly those that manipulated and seduced minors. Meanwhile, Musk on Monday shared an entry from an anonymous account calling for the British prime minister to be jailed.
Starmer himself is not beholden to the billionaire, and on the same day accused Starmer of “spreading lies and disinformation” and being concerned with himself rather than potential victims. As he pointed out, he initiated the largest number of investigations in history as Director of Public Prosecutions.
