Musk: First flight of Mars spacecraft rocket in March 2026
SpaceX founder Elon Musk has announced that his spacecraft rocket should go to Mars by the end of next year. According to the billionaire, if the first mission worked, “2031 is more likely,” but he pointed out in the Platform X post, people’s landings on the Red Planet can start in 2029.
Spaceships are extremely important to Musk’s ambitions to colonize Mars. Mars is the largest 123-meter rocket ever created. The ship is considered to be the largest rate on orbit.

However, during testing it became clear that the model does not have some disadvantages. One of the rockets exploded just minutes after its launch in Texas last week. As the BBC points out, this was the second obstacle this year after a similar “rapid, unplanned demolition” rocket in January.
