Peter Navarro, an adviser to President Donald Trump for Trade, criticised Elon Musk for not understanding the mechanisms other countries have used to “chee” the US on commercial issues. In an interview with Fox News Navarro, the US states that the US is “played” using a variety of trade barriers other than mandatory or dumping prices, and Musk doesn’t understand this.
Nevertheless, Trump’s advisors actively mentioned Mask’s activities at Doge (the government’s Department of Efficiency), ensuring there was no conflict between him and the new president’s administration.

The Tesla owner had previously spoken about the tests that the White House had applied, but during the Matteo Salvini Congress he was in favor of free trade around the world. He also supported the idea of zero tariffs between Europe and the US, expressing his hopes to create a no-obligation zone between both economic systems.
