British monarch Charles III cut off funding for the upkeep and protection of his historic mansion from his brother. Prince Andrew no longer receives £1 million a year, according to the king's biography, which has been published in installments. There are two reasons for this, one being the will of Charles' mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
A new biography by Robert Hardman, serialized in the Daily Mail, reveals that Charles III cut off his brother's sources of funding.

Some time ago, the monarch is said to have ordered the finance chief to stop Prince Andrew from receiving an allowance estimated to be around £1 million a year. Private protection for the prince, his property and art collection is no longer paid.
“The prince is no longer a financial burden to the king,” Hardman writes, and in this way the king is making good on his promise to his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who had hoped to “resolve the Andrew issue once and for all.” He emphasized that he had protected it.
Charles III's tough decision. Prince Andrew was left without money
According to documents drawn up before the former ruler's death, she forced her second son to leave Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park and move to Frogmore Cottage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's former home. It became clear that he wanted to do it.
Charles III asked his brother to leave, but his brother refused and was cut off from his property. Now Andrzej must find his own way to finance his property and protection.
