“Malta was a very caring woman, a loving mother and a supporter who tried to help everyone she loved,” we read in a statement released by local police.

“She is so loved by all of us, and the tragic circumstances in which she died will persecute us forever. We don’t think we’ll reconcile with it,” the 43-year-old relative wrote.
