In his message, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he would hold a discussion about the extension of French nuclear umbrellas to its European partners.
In a television speech to France on Wednesday, Macron emphasized that if the nuclear umbrella is extended to European allies, the decision to use weapons belongs to Paris.
In his speech, he argued that the threat from the Russian Federation was real.
The French president emphasized that his state must be ready for a script in which the United States is no longer on his side. At the same time, he expressed his hope that this would not happen.
Macron also spoke about the peace mission after the end of the ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia. He said next week that a provincial military boss who is interested in “taking responsibility for this matter” will appear in Paris.
In his message, he announced in French that he must increase his defense budget. -We will have to make new budget elections and necessary military investments without raising taxes – he argued.
Macron said the White House decision to impose obligations on some European products “unable” for him, but “it doesn’t remain unanswered.” – We will continue to try everything to convince us that this decision hurts us all. We hope to convince the President of the United States – he said.
