Mr Dariusz was due to fly from Sharm el-Sheikh to Rzeszow on Thursday evening via SkyUp. But his flight was canceled just like the next flight. Airlines apologize to passengers.
The tourist addressed the editors of Kontakt24 on Friday evening. According to him, his flight was supposed to take place on Thursday at 17:45, but it was delayed due to technical reasons. A day later, a similar fate befell the replacement flight.
– We were taken to the hotel around midnight, and another flight was supposed to take place today (Friday – ed.) around 5 p.m. We have been sitting at the airport for six hours now and there is no news. The workers don’t know anything, they don’t give time, apparently there is no plane. Mr. Dariush reported on Friday that the resident allegedly assured us that if we do not fly today, we will be taken back to the hotel.

The airline apologizes
We have contacted the carrier regarding the canceled flight. SkyUp Airlines has confirmed the cancellation of flight U5 7552 from Sharm el-Sheikh to Rzeszów on January 2 “due to technical reasons”.
“Passengers have been diverted to other flights to minimize disruption,” we read in a statement sent to us on Saturday. The company also announced that some of the passengers had already returned to Poland, while the rest were scheduled to depart on January 4.

“During the changeover, we have informed passengers and provided them with everything including food and amenities to ensure their comfort,” SkyUp said. The airline apologizes for the inconvenience and announces that “passengers will be compensated in accordance with EU law”.
