A resident of Gliwice contacted the police with information about a dangerous incident. It could end tragically for a teenager who was collecting candy in the neighborhood on Halloween. There was a piece of metal object with sharp edges in the candy, which indicates a deliberate act, Silesian police reported. It appeals to parents and guardians of children to carefully examine sweets and report such incidents.
According to the Silesian Police, a resident of Gliwice contacted the police on Saturday afternoon to report “a dangerous incident that could have ended tragically for a 12-year-old girl.”
“On October 31, the girl and her friend went to collect Halloween candies in the neighborhood. Residents eagerly threw sweets into their net. After returning home, one of the girls touched the candy. Only for her brother to notice that a metal element was attached to it. . of candy, the child was averted,” he describes.

After Halloween, the police call
Due to this situation, the police asked the guardians and parents of the children who participated in collecting sweets as part of the Halloween game to pay special attention to them.
“Check the candy carefully before consuming it. If you notice anything suspicious, contact the Gliwice police immediately – phone 47 85 922 00 or call the emergency number 112,” the message reads.
The Silesia Police appeals to “report any similar incidents.” “Every piece of information is extremely important for the trial. Let's take care of our children's safety,” he emphasizes.
