PHOENIX — Global technology company Comtec officially completed its headquarters relocation to Chandler this week.
It was announced in March that the company would be relocating from Melville, New York, to Arizona.
“Chandler has established itself as one of the nation's leading technology locations,” Comtech interim CEO John Rattigan said in a press release. “We are excited to expand our footprint in Arizona and benefit from the City of Chandler's continued commitment to innovation.”
The company's new headquarters, located at 305 N. 54th St., will include approximately 150,000 square feet of office, engineering and manufacturing space.
Comtech is a global technology company providing terrestrial and wireless network solutions, next-generation 911 emergency services, satellite and space communications technology, and cloud-native capabilities to commercial and government customers worldwide.
Comtec will begin hosting employees at its new office in 2023, but has been based in Arizona and has been serving local commercial, defense and government clients for more than 25 years.
“Today marks a landmark day for Arizona as we welcome Comtech, a leading global technology company, to its new headquarters in Chandler,” Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs said in a statement. “Comtech's Chandler headquarters will expand opportunities for economic growth and highlight Arizona's attractive business environment and reputation as a top hub for innovation and technology. We are proud to support Comtech's next chapter and look forward to supporting their success in Arizona.”
Comtech is currently hiring for a variety of Chandler-based positions.
