Joanna R., 25, was last seen on August 31, 2023 in Gluchov, near Lankut. He left work around 4:40 p.m. It was recorded by television cameras on the roundabout near the primary school. Since this woman did not return home for a long time, the family reported her disappearance to the police in the evening. The search began and, among others, police officers with tracking dogs and thermal imaging cameras. Two days later, the woman's body was found in the bushes near the buildings.

In connection with this case, a day after the disappearance of this woman, Grzegorz B was arrested, he is the cousin of the 25-year-old woman who was last seen with this man a day ago. It was he who showed the location of the bodies. He was accused of murder, to which he initially pleaded guilty. But he could not explain his behavior. When the prosecution changed his charge to murder with special cruelty and with a particularly reprehensible motive, he refused to admit the crime and refused to comment.

They also noted that when he committed the crime, he was able to correctly understand the meaning of his actions and correctly guide his behavior.
